Terms of Service

1. Service Description

at://work is a web application for job listing management and discovery, built on the Authenticated Transfer Protocol (ATProtocol). These terms apply to the service hosted at https://atwork.place.

2. User Rights and Responsibilities

When using at://work, users must:

  • Use the service lawfully and respectfully
  • Protect their ATProtocol account credentials
  • Take responsibility for job listings and content they create
  • Ensure job listings are accurate, legitimate, and comply with applicable employment laws
  • Not post discriminatory, fraudulent, or misleading job opportunities
  • Not attempt to circumvent security measures or disrupt the service

Violations of these responsibilities may result in content removal and prevention of inclusion in this website.

3. Content Ownership and Storage

Users retain full ownership of job listings and content they contribute. All job listings are stored as records in your Personal Data Server (PDS) within the ATProtocol network, specifically in the place.atwork.listing collection.

at://work maintains an index and cached references to publicly available job listing data to provide search and discovery features. This indexing does not transfer ownership or rights to your content.

4. Content Indexing and Removal Rights

We reserve the right to index publicly available ATProtocol content as we see fit to provide and improve our service. This includes, but is not limited to, job listings, profiles, and other public records from the ATProtocol network.

We may remove, de-index, or refuse to index content from our service at any time, with or without notice, and without providing a reason. Reasons for removal may include, but are not limited to:

  • Violations of these Terms of Service
  • Content that is fraudulent, misleading, or violates applicable laws
  • Spam, abuse, or attempts to manipulate the service
  • Technical or operational considerations
  • At our sole discretion for any other reason

Important: Removal of content from at://work does not affect the ownership or availability of your content in the ATProtocol network. Your data remains stored in your Personal Data Server (PDS) and continues to be accessible through other ATProtocol applications. We only remove content from our index and search results.

5. ATProtocol and Data Portability

Because at://work is built on ATProtocol, your job listings exist independently of this service. You maintain control over your data through your PDS provider, and your listings can be accessed by other compatible applications in the ATProtocol ecosystem.

6. Service Availability

at://work is provided "as is" without guarantees of uptime or availability. We strive to maintain reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time.

7. Privacy and Related Policies

Your use of at://work is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, detailed below on this page. By using the service, you agree to these policies.

8. Limitation of Liability

at://work is provided as a platform for connecting job seekers and employers. We do not verify the accuracy of job listings, endorse any employer or opportunity, or guarantee any employment outcomes. Users engage with job opportunities at their own risk.

We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost opportunities, employment disputes, data loss, or service interruptions.
